Unfortunately, the government imposed quota of 2,700 immigrants for the canadian investor program has already been filled. This program is closed for the moment and will reopen when the quota resets in early 2013.

The U.S. Immigrant Investor Program has many advantages:

• Shorter delays: 8 to 12 months to obtain the U.S. green card.
• Costs less money: requires an investment of 500,000 USD. 50% is returned after after 2½ years and 100% after 5 years.
• Less documentation and information to provide to complete the file.

Canada immigrant investor program

The Immigrant Investor Program is the easiest and fastest way for businessmen, senior managers and owners of a professional office/firm to obtain a Canadian permanent resident visa. The procedure will take between 12 and 18 months depending on your country of origin. If you do not obtain your permanent resident visa at the end of the immigration procedure, you do not have to pay our fees.

Selection criteria

In order to qualify for the immigrant investor program it is mandatory to meet all three of the following criterias :

• Have a minimum of 2 years of business or management experience acquired over the last 5 years.

• Have a net worth of at least 1.6 million canadian dollars. This is equivalent to approximately 1.5 million USD, 1.25 million EURO or 800 millions CFA. All your assets are taken into consideration: bank accounts, stock-exchange portfolios, real estates, company's value, etc.

• Deposit 800,000.00 CAD for 5 years, without interests, with the Government of Quebec or Canada. The investment is guaranteed by the government. This is equivalent to approximately 750,000.00 USD, 625,000.00 EURO or 400 millions CFA. If you do not want to freeze 800,000 CAD of your assets for five years, you can obtain a loan from a Canadian financial institution. This loan will cost you a total amount of approximately 190,000 CAD in interest and administration fees.
